What rental coverage do lenders require?

Typically 125-145% rental coverage, meaning the rent must be 125-145% of the monthly mortgage payment. We know which lenders offer the most competitive ratios. In special circumstances this can be topped up from personal or portfolio income by what's known as "Top Slicing".

Can I get a BTL mortgage if I'm self-employed?
